Femi Otedola, chairman of First HoldCo Plc, has increased his holding through Calvados Global Services Limited in a series of purchases disclosed to the Nigerian Exchange. The latest, on 24 August 2026, was 95,699,240 shares at ₦131.48, about ₦12.58bn, taking his holding to about 12.15 billion shares, roughly 26.6%.
Earlier purchases included 1.779 billion shares for about ₦222.2bn and 706.13 million shares for about ₦77.6bn in July, and 138.04 million and 147.74 million shares in August. Otedola told Nairametrics on 3 August that he intends to build a controlling stake of more than 51%.
