Amsons Group, through Amsons Industries (Tanzania) Limited, has agreed to acquire Oryx Energies’ downstream oil business in Tanzania, including retail service stations, storage terminals and distribution infrastructure. The consideration was not disclosed. Completion is conditional on customary regulatory approvals.
Advisers: ALN Tanzania | A&K Tanzania advised Amsons, with a team led by director Chris Green (Dar es Salaam) and partner Charlotte Patrick-Patel (Nairobi), and senior partner Karim Anjarwalla providing strategic guidance. Bankable Tanzania was transaction adviser to Amsons. Advisers to Oryx Energies were not named.
