Matter points = Base × Size × Cross-border. Lawyer credit = Matter points × Role × Evidence × Recency. Score = (sum of the lawyer’s eight highest credits) × Breadth (maximum 1.20). Index = 100 × Score ÷ top score. Base is 10 for a signed, announced or completed transaction or an obtained judgment, 7.5 for a regulatory mandate and 6 for a pending dispute. Size = 1 + 0.25 × log10(value in US$ millions), bounded between 1.0 and 2.0. Matters in the most recent 12 months count in full; matters 12 to 24 months old count at 0.70. Tiers: Rainmakers (1 to 10), Power Players (11 to 25), Dealmakers (26 to 50) and Operators (51 to 100) are reserved for partners, heads and senior lawyers, ranked among themselves.
