9 and 14 October: Airtel Money in London

Conditional dealings in Airtel Money shares are due to begin on 9 October, with admission to the Main Market and unconditional dealings expected on 14 October at 8.00am London time. The offer was priced at £1.96 a share, valuing the business at about £5.3 billion. 14 October: the Lamu refinery land claim at Malindi

The Environment and Land Court at Malindi will hear the application by 133 Chandavai residents on 14 October. Until then, the status quo order on Land Reference No. 13061 stands. What to look for: the respondents’ account of how the land was acquired, whether compensation was paid, and whether the court extends, varies or lifts the order. Read the court story.

By the end of October: MNT-Halan on the Egyptian Exchange

MNT-Halan expects trading in MNT Tech Holding to begin before the end of October, subject to approvals and market conditions. The EGX listing committee had already granted the company a temporary main-board listing in September, with a deadline of mid-March 2027 to complete the offering.
