Elevra Lithium agreed on 11 May 2026 to sell its interest in Ghana’s Ewoyaa lithium project, including associated offtake rights, to Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt for about US$71m in cash. Ghanaian Government approvals remained outstanding at Elevra’s update of 1 October 2026; if they are not obtained by 30 October, Huayou may complete or terminate. A US$5m break fee is payable if Huayou terminates, but not if Ghana rejects Huayou’s application on or before 30 October.
