Transgrid Enerco completes acquisition of 60% of Eko DisCo from West Power & Gas

DETAIL advised Transgrid Enerco on the acquisition while Dentons ACAS-Law advised West Power & Gas on the divestment.

Transgrid Enerco Limited acquired a 60% controlling stake in Eko Electricity Distribution Company (Eko DisCo) from West Power & Gas. Detail Commercial Solicitors, which advised Transgrid Enerco, announced completion and describes the consideration as ₦416 billion (about US$290 million).

Detail’s earlier announcement on the signing of the share purchase agreement describes Transgrid Enerco as a consortium including North South Power, Axxela and the Stanbic IBTC Infrastructure Growth Fund. Dentons ACAS-Law advised West Power & Gas on the divestment.
