Linkage Assurance completes ₦16.2bn rights issue ahead of NAICOM deadline

Shares allotted with SEC approval and listed on NGX before the 31 July 2026 recapitalisation deadline.

Linkage Assurance Plc completed a ₦16.2bn rights issue that opened on 11 March and closed on 23 April 2026. The SEC approved the allotment and the new shares have been listed on the Nigerian Exchange, the company said on 27 July 2026.

Proceeds are to meet the new minimum capital requirement under the Nigerian Insurance Industry Reform Act 2025 and support expansion.
